New year is not different from any other day of the year for me.I fail to understand why so much hoopla about the first day of the new year.Happy! Not me Why should i be?One more year would add to my age which is standing dangerously on the wrong side of forty.And jokes apart i don't see any visible(or non visible)changes around me,nor there any assurance of that.Daily papers&T.V.chanels will be churning out the same story of murder and gore& terrorism with relish peppered by the usual dose of politics ,movies,filmi gossips& scandals.IG Rathores& Manu sharmas of our world drunk with the power their high positions& money ensues,will continue to murder&molest Innocent victims.Nations developed&developing will continue to pollute the earth& will blame each other for that.And so on.So you see, nothing new.But we can make it different.You& me & them.We can be more responsible towards cthers&towards ourselves too.Be tolerant and polite.It can solve many things.And of coures pollute less.It may sound like a preach(it sounded like that to me all ready),but trying to make the world a better place to live at the individual level would make a difference indeed.And that would be a real new year to us all.HAPPY NEW YEAR.
